Pawancheek has appeared in a wide range of disputes relating to commercial, trust or succession/inheritance disputes. He is often appointed or consulted where conflict of laws arise (given Malaysia's unique legal system that features civil/Syariah elements).
Pawancheek has advised a number of Government-linked companies and statutory bodies, and has conducted litigation for them as lead counsel. He is consulted for international advisory work, and is a writer in legal matters. He has written several books, with particular interest in the Islamic laws of succession and inheritance.

Called to the Bar in 2011. He routinely appears in the superior courts of Malaysia, and is principally a litigator. His practice comprises, among others, civil and commercial disputes involving companies and individuals. He serves on various committees of the state and national bars, and occasionally writes on In Personam and makes art at The Artificer of Ink.
